RedPoint developed and released to the market patient-specific instrumentation (PSI) cutting guides for use in foot and ankle reconstructive surgeries such as bunion correction. Optimized for use with weight bearing CT, the vision is a patient-specific bunion solution. Some think this is overkill and an added expense to bunion correction while others talk with their wallets.

Treace acquires RedPoint

Treace Medical Concepts announced its signing of an asset purchase agreement to acquire certain assets of RedPoint Medical3D for $20 million in an upfront cash payment, with up to $10 million in potential milestone payments.
