Novastep Deal Consumated

As speculated in February 2023 FIX, Enovis announced early this week that it has consummated a deal for Novastep with the MIS bunion system being the prize along with access to a robust OUS sales channel.

Where does this leave Carbon-22?

No word yet on how this affects the strategic relationship between Novastep and Carbon22. In 2020, Novastep announced an exclusive distribution and education agreement with Carbon22. Carbon22, a GLW company, is a musculoskeletal company, comprised of a consortium of orthopedic and podiatric surgeons focusing on foot and ankle implant solutions. The sales price is around $74.4 million based on current rates.
