Fusion Orthopedics has made a move into the bunion market with their LapiLock 4D Bunion Correction System. They tout their technology and medical sales representative friendly approach that opened up when Treace began taking their sales reps direct as W2 employees.

Treace Medical Concepts, Inc. vs. Fusion Orthopedics

Treace alleges multiple patent infringements related to its Lapiplasty 3D Bunion Correction system, as well as trademark and copyright infringements, and unfair competition. The company is seeking injunctive relief and damages.

And if that isn't enough … now Extremity Medical has filed

Extremity Medical filed a lawsuit against Fusion Orthopedics alleging infringement of the patent for its intraosseus fixation platform that arose from the marking of the Fusion IntraLock Lapidus system.

Fusion's response to Treace Medical
