Foot Innovate Leadership Conference 2024: Innovative Educational Experience

Foot Innovate held its Leadership Conference in Dallas from June 6-8, 2024. Chairman Mark Easley and the Foot Innovate leadership team of Scott Ellis and Mark Prissel crafted an agenda that enabled meaningful discussion in a collegial environment that attendees described as refreshing, empowering, and fun. 

Some highlights

• Recognized experts celebrated the success of ankle arthroplasties and addressed the challenges of revision total ankle replacements in the total ankle discussion. 

• A presentation of the adult manifestation of clubfoot included mic-drop moments and data showing a recurrence rate approaching 60% in adults who had care as children.

• Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) and Duke foot and ankle fellowships were featured sharing current research and experiences, as well as how they have evolved since completing their fellowships. 

Learning, collaboration, and innovation

Industry partners were invited into the lecture hall to participate in the discussions. Representatives from Artelon, CONMED, DePuy Synthes, Enovis, Exactech, Kuros Biosciences, Medline, Orthofix, OSSIO, Paragon 28, Smith & Nephew, Stryker, and Treace participated from the podium and Artelon, CONMED, OSSIO, and Paragon 28 hosted hands-on lab experiences.

Paragon 28 also hosted an industry-sponsored symposium on APEX 3DTM Design Rationale and Case Presentation.
